Top Foods to Avoid with High Blood Preasure
  1. With high blood pressure you want to have a diet low in sodium and fat, so here are the top foods you should really avoid.

  2. Pickles

  3. Canned Chicken Noodle Soup

  4. Sauerkraut

  5. Fast Food French Fries

  6. Bacon

  7. Whole Milk (Use 2% or even better use- 1% 

  8. Frozen Pot Pies

  9. Donuts

  10. Ramen Noodles

  11. Margarine

  12. Sugar

  13. Alcohol

  14. Red Meat

  15. Table Salt

Yusuf's Protein Bars

  1. 2 cups of rolled oats

  2. 1 cup Whey protein

  3. 1/2 tbl cinnamon

  4. 1/4 cup shredded almonds

  5. 1/4 cup cranberries or rasins

  6. 1/4 cup almond milk

  7. 1/4 cup unsweetened apple sauce

  8. 1/4 cup of dark chocolate chips

  9. 1/4 cup almond or peanut butter

  10. 1/4 cup agave or honey

  11. 1 teas vanilla

 

Put all dry ingredients in a large bowl and microwave for about 1 to 2 minutes until chocolate melts.

Add wet ingredients and mix well. 

 

Place ingredients in a baking dish and cover with wax paper. Press down to the thickness you desire.

Place baking dish in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

 

After an hour you can cut the mixture into bar size pieces.

Wrap each bar in wax paper.

It's best to store protein bars in the refrigerator.

After heart surgery in July of 2016 Sayida finds out after a followup this November, that her Cardiologist was so very pleased with all her test and improvement...she can drive now, and her doctor wants her to tell her testimony on television for the heart association. 

She has accomplished a goal that would take up to a year or more to reach. 

God hears our prayers!! Her strength and determination will forever show us anything is possible!!
